CMIC MAIN ACTIVITIES AND UPCOMING EVENTS

CMIC Main Previous Activities: 

-Meeting of Advisory and Governing Boards for reviewing CMIC regulations, structure and strategy on September 6, 2008.

-Online Training on Financial Markets for CMIC Expert and Executive Teams dated September 06, 2008.

-Roundtable Meeting for CMIC Expert Team on infrastructure of securities markets dated November 10, 2008

-Roundtable Discussion on Functions, Structures of Capital Markets and Securities Investment Perspective for CMIC Expert and Executive Teams on December 07, 2008. 

-CMIC conducted the first Assembly dated January 1st, 2009 at CMIC headquarter in Phnom Penh. All CMIC members has been invited to participate in the session.

-Workshop on Understanding Capital Markets organized by the CMIC in collaboration with International University (IU) dated January 17th, 2009 for more 300 students at the IU campus.

-Workshop on Understanding Financial Markets organized by the CMIC in collaboration with Buld Bright University (BBU) dated February 16th, 2009 for 200 students at the BBU campus.

-Workshops on Securities and Investment Bank will be organized by the CMIC in collaboration with Pannasastra University of Cambodia on April 23rd, 2009 for 700 students at the PUC Campus.

-Study-visit to the Stock Exchanges of Hochiminh (HOSE) and other Investment Banks/Securities Companies in Hochiminh dated April 27th, 2009. The visit was led by Mr. Sokthet Chhiv, Chairman of CMI-Cambodia

-Roundtable Discussions on capital market education for CMIC trainers from 1st to 26th of June, 2009 at CMIC office.

-Study-visit to the Stock Exchanges of Thailand and other Securities Companies in Bangkok dated July 16th, 2009. The visit was led by Mr. Sokthet Chhiv, Chairman of CMI-Cambodia
